Ans:

(i) Mean value: 

Let’s rearrange the data:

33 a. Find the mean and

∑fx = 3340 and ∑f = 100

∴ Mean = 33 a. Find the mean and

∴ Mean = 33 a. Find the mean and = 33.4

Therefore, the mean value of the given grouped data is 33.4.

(ii) Mode value:.

Since the frequency is highest in “25-35”

∴ “25-35” is the modal class

Since the mode value is calculated by = L + 33 a. Find the mean and

Here, L = 25, f0 = 20, f1 = 25, f2 = 22 and h = 35-25 = 10

∴ Mode = L + 33 a. Find the mean and

= 25 + 33 a. Find the mean and

= 25 + 33 a. Find the mean and 

= 25 + 6.25 = 31.25

Therefore, the mode value of the given grouped data is 31.25
